Fabian Berget Lindblad

Hello, my name is Fabian and I am 23 year old LEGO collector from Norway. I have loved LEGO for as long as I can remember, playing with it as a child evolving to the slightly crazy collector I am today.
Back in 2006-2012 my main interests were Star Wars, City and Bionicle. In 2013 I got onto social media for the first time and that is when my interests started changing. I was introduced to minifigure photography through Instagram and created the profile LEGOmrclown.
It was my first introduction to LEGO communities seeing the rise of ex. Brickcentral and Bricknetwork. A few months later I went to my first LEGO event, Build the Change in Oslo, Norway. There I also saw the Norwegian LEGO User Group - Brikkelauget for the first time.

Flea markets has always been a part of my life and where I have bought a lot of toys and LEGO through the years. Living in a country who has sold LEGO since 1953 you are bound to eventually find some old LEGO bricks in the lots you buy. I never threw them out even though they were unusable, but always found them fascinating.
Years went by and I continued to be active in the LEGO communities over on Instagram. Gradually I found an interest in older and older sets, items and figures. Getting my first 60's and 70's sets in 2014, and buying my first h0-scale LEGO truck in 2015.
In 2015 I also started my first Bricklink Store, Clowny_Bricks, following my Instagram profile at the time. Today it is called Timeless Rarities.
Due to some personal issues in 2015 I abondoned the LEGOmrclown profile on Instagram and made a new one, Clowny_City. Where I posted updates from my little LEGO city and my collection. Later renamed to Timeless Rarities on Instagram as well.

By now my interest for LEGO history, older sets and items had started flourishing for real. Buying my first wooden toy on Ebay in 2016. All I was looking for now was older LEGO parts, sets and items to add to the collection. As well as the occasional new LEGO deal at the toy stores to fund my growing collection.
I had started meeting some like-minded collectors through Instagram, but there was really never a big community for it on Instagram at the time. However, then I dicovered Flickr in 2017 which was a real eye opener. There were other crazy collectors like me out there, yay!
Then through an ad I had made at a Norwegian internet marketplace in 2018 I got in contact with two amazing guys, Arild Ernst Anderson and Terje Løkeberg. Arild was and still is the expert when it comes to the Norwegian LEGO history. He has uncovered so much information and has an impressive collection. As well as Terje who has and amazing toy collection and is also very interested in toy history, especially from Scandinavia. Together with them I created the Facebook group Pre-1975, which has grown to be something much greater than I could have ever imagined. You can read about Pre-1975 here on this website Pre-1975.

Today I have a lot of fun running the Pre-1975 group, researching LEGO history and collecting everything from wooden toys to prototypes and newer sets. I like to say I collect everything with a story, which can be a bit much at times, but it is for sure fun and interesting.
If you have any questions about me, my collection, Pre-1975 or LEGO history then shoot me a message through any of my social medias or send me an email. You can find the email at the bottom of the webpage.
Thanks for reading and LEg GOdt!
