These are parts that have been released in sets, but not in these colours.
They are often made in red, white, black and trans-clear to look for faults and issues with the plastic mould. Sometimes parts are also made in special colours for designers to use, but never make it into the sets. Another case is for use in glued models and LEGOLAND parks.
