Long beams and dogbone bricks
Timeless Rarities - www.rarities.no - Last Updated: 09.04.2026
The long beams were introuced in 1955 in Norway. The same mould also included other sizes of bricks, likely corner bricks and maybe 2x4, 2x3, etc. We are still trying to figure out exactly what kind of bricks were in the mould.
The logo found on the long beams and corner bricks is known as the "dogbone logo". This is because the logo it is based on has bone-like letters and colour.
If you have any information about what kind of dogbone bricks were available in Norway, then please let us know! For now we will only consider long beams and corner bricks.
