Extended group rules:

1.1 - Be kind and helpful, think before you write.
1.2 - Be constructive in your writing when sharing your opinions/feelings on a subject.
1.3 - Stay away from using swear words, and talking about politics and religion.
1.4 - Failing to follow the group rules could lead to a warning, or in the worst case a ban from the group. On the second warning or more we will consider removing you from the group, depending on the seriousness of the warnings.
1.5.0 - Due to many scam attempts in our group, new members will be under extra supervision. Having to follow even the optional parts of our rules. A summary is available here. (1.5.0 - 1.5.5 is a temporary set of rules in use from the 10th of April 2024 until [Date unknown])

1.5.2 - PayPal as the only allowed payment option.
1.5.3 - The sales post must include the country you are sending from.
1.5.4 - The sales post must include the cost of tracked shipping worldwide. If it is cheaper to send ex. inside the EU, you write something like "cheaper shipping option available inside the EU" next to the price, you do not need to list every single shipping option. If you do not ship worldwide, then it must be mentioned in the post, and also still the highest shipping cost has to be mentioned.

2.0 What is allowed to be sold in the group?

2.1 - All sets, toys, parts and items made by or for LEGO from 1975 or earlier.
2.2 - Themes from before 1975 going past, like ex. Homemaker.
2.3 - New sets related to pre-1975 LEGO. Ex. LEGO House wooden duck set.
2.4 - Modulex, even newer production.
2.5 - Items with a significant relation to LEGO. Ex. Geas ABB set. (ask a moderator if you are unsure)

3.0 General group behaviour:

3.1 - Be kind and helpful, think before you write.
3.2 - Be constructive in your writing when sharing your opinions/feelings on a subject.
3.3 - Stay away from using swear words, and talking about politics and religion.
3.4 - Report comments and posts violating the group rules to the moderators.

4.0 Buying in the group:

4.1 - All purchases must be confirmed in public on the sales post before moving to private messages. Ex. you having the highest bid at the end of auction or you being the first to write "I buy it" on a fixed price post.
4.2 - All confirmed purchases are binding. Meaning you can not cancel it. In a case where you are unable to pay or go forwards with a purchase, contact the moderators.
4.3 - Do NOT delete bids/offers. If you ex. added a wrong bid, then post a new comment with the correct bid. You may add to the wrong comment ex. " - Wrong bid" or " - See new bid below". Do so instantly when you notice the mistake. If more than 15 minutes has passed before you notice the mistake, contact the seller and/or moderator to prevent confusion.
4.4 - Be aware of rule 6.7 regarding 5 minutes extra on auctions.
4.5 - We highly recommend you pay using PayPal Goods & Services.
4.6 - You can create a "wanted" post if you are looking to buy something specific. You should write what it is, add one or more pictures, write what you can pay, and where you are located.

5.0 Selling in the group:

5.1 - All sales posts must be in the Marketplace group. You may not share a link or screenshot to another website or group where you are selling.
5.2 - All sales post must have a price and the currency used (Ex. EUR, USD, DKK, etc.). We recommend EUR in our group, but you may use any currency as long as it is clearly stated. If you are unsure about the price you should make a "help with valuation post" first.
5.3 - All sales posts should have a title and a description of what you are selling. Any missing pieces, damage, alteration, etc. should be explained in detail and preferably pictured.
5.4 - All sales post must have a picture of the exact item you are selling, not a picture from a catalogue or the internet. A note with your name and date is also recommended to add in the picture.
5.5 - All sales posts must mention what country they are sending from.
5.6 - Buyers can expect you to ship all over the world, unless you state otherwise on the post.
5.7 - Buyers can expect you to accept PayPal as a payment option, unless otherwise is stated.
5.8 - A sale must be confirmed in public before moving to private messages.
5.9 - All confirmed sales are binding. Meaning you have to sell to the highest bidder at auction end or the first person saying "I will buy it" on your fixed price post.
5.10 - Do NOT delete your post when sold. Just edit the post and write SOLD on the top. These posts are valuable for our members to see what items have sold for in the past.
5.11 - If you have a lot of items you want to sell we kindly ask you to limit the amount of posts. You can sell multiple items in a single sales post. You can also do so with auctions. If you do not how then contact a moderator or look for earlier auctions in the group as examples.

6.0 Auctions:

6.1 - All auctions must have a starting bid and the currency used.
6.2 - All auctions also must have an end time.
You may write ex. "Auction ends 48 hours from the first bid", and add the exact end time when the first bid comes. The end time does not have to be sat exactly on the minute from the first bid, but has to be within plus or minus 1 hour from the mentioned auction run time.
6.3 - We recommend a minimum of 2 days / 48 hours, or a maximum of 1 week / 7 days. for an auction to run.
6.4 - The timezone (Ex. CET - Central European Time) of your country/area has to be mentioned next to the end time.
6.5 - If an auction ends 18:00, it ends exactly when the Facebook clock goes from showing 17:59 to 18:00. Meaning a bid coming in 18:00 or 18:01 is too late.
6.6 - Do NOT make changes to an auction without confirming with the current bidders. Both the new change and old information should be visible on the post.
6.7 - All auctions have a 5 minute extra timer (5MET). Meaning a bid has to stand alone for 5 minutes before an auction ends. This causes the auction end time to be extended if someone places a bid just minutes before the end. Ex. bid comes in 17:58, end time is extended to 18:03. Another bid comes in 18:02, end time is extended to 18:07 and so on.
6.8 - You may set a reserve price on your auction. This allows bids lower than the set reserve price, but you can choose to sell or not to the highest bidder if it does not reach your reserve. If the bid passes the reserve price it continues until the end as a normal auction.
6.9 - You may set a "buy it now" price as well as a starting bid. If someone bids the buy it now price they instantly win the auction and it ends.
6.10 - You can promote an auction three times before the auction ends. Ex. 1 hour before, 24 hours before, etc. By "promoting" we mean writing a comment on the auction saying ex. "1 day left of the auction".
