Pre-1975 is a LEGO community located on Facebook. We noticed that there were plenty of groups and communities focused on 1978 (The first minifigures) and beyond, but very few on the years before. So we decided to make the Facebook group Pre-1975 in 2018, which has now grown to be the nr. 1 place on the internet for early LEGO history, sets and items. We have gathered the biggest history buffs and experts, who are there to educate and help with any question you may have.
As the group grew it was split into two, so we now have a group dedicated to buying and selling, "Pre-1975 Marketplace". Thanks to a wide variety of members from all over the world, there is always something interesting up for sale. May it be wooden toys, old parts or newer complete sets. Due to prices of a lot of early LEGO rising and counterfeits hitting the market, we started a project trying to document all the fakes being made, and those for sale.
